Hyliion is a new trucking manufacturer that hybridizes tractor-trailers by installing an intelligent, electric-drive axle on the trailer. Their system uses regenerative braking to capture power when the trailer is slowing down, and reuses it to help power the trailer up hills. The Hyliion technology saves an average of 30% on fuel and improves our country’s energy footprint.
Infinite Sum began working with Hyliion in their very early stages, providing an expansive list of services, including fundraising strategy, pitch decks, films, website development, documentation, and more. With Infinite Sum materials, Hyliion won the Rice Business Plan competition as well as the Department of Energy's Clean Energy Prize, going on to raise an additional $3,000,000 to accelerate their growth.
Thanks in part to ISL web pages, spec sheets, and sales documents, Hyliion has a variety of major trucking brands lined up to test initial prototypes once they are ready for road testing.
